Greetings, and happy Sunday!  Lynda Joy here, with a card featuring a new stamp from the Technique Junkies March release.   Today is the last day for the 15% discount off of the new release stamps at Technique Junkies.  AND, if you use my code, TJ10Lynda, you can take an additional 10% off, for a total of 25% off the new stamps.

I stamped the Floral Silhouette stamp onto kraft card stock with antique linen distress ink, and colored it with Polychromos colored pencils. 

I added the verse from the In Full Bloom Sentiments Set , using Ranger Archival ink in library green.  I love the many wonderful sentiments in this set, and the varying fonts.  The perfect accompaniment to any of TJ's floral images.

To finish the panel, I added some grass with the colored pencils to ground the flowers, and spattered it with some distress ink.  I layered the panel onto an A2 green card.

To create this card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel. I stamped the image and colored it using Copic markers and the addd some clouds in the background. The greeting is from the set Inside Out: Patience

Better in the Country...

It's my day to post here on the Technique Junkies Design blog, and I wanted to share another card using 'Better in the Country' from the March new releases.  I love this stamp! 

The background was stenciled using 'A Colorful Life Designs 6 x 9 Stencil 'Messy Diamond Grid'.

I took this photo at an angle, so you could better see the embossing.

This was so easy to create! Hope you will give it a try!

Fairies Forever

Fairies are such magical little creatures. So, of course they have magical little places to live! This new Fairy Garden set has me feeling all kinds of magical! There are 10 stamps in the set for you to create your own little magical kingdom in fairyland. I used a few of the stamps for this card, and I had a blast coloring it and creating an ethereal little scene.

Here is the stamp set. You can see which stamps I used.

To begin, I stamped the image on the left. I tore a piece of post-it to mask the lower portion of the card and stamped the image on right, capturing only the top portion. I selected the sentiment and stamped it on the panel. After coloring with colored pencils, I added a generous spray of Shimmering Bliss in Iridescent (my favorite! - but there are so many colors to pick from). 

Once the spray was dry (in only moments) I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops (Morning Dew) to give it a little more subtle shine. 

I added the finished panel to an A2 black cardbase to finish off the card.
