Sunday morning greetings!    

Lynda Joy here, with a card I made using a fabulous collage stamp from the Technique Junkies April new stamps release.  As always, all new release stamps are 15% off through April 8th.  And with my code, TJ10Lynda, you will get an additional 10% off, for a total of 25% off the new stamps!

 

I created the background using distress inks as watercolor.  I used a brush to create areas of greens and purples.  I let that dry, then embossed the Butterfly With Text stamp with black on the colorful background.  

I embossed and added the Anything Is Possible verse with foam tape.

My card was super simple to make, I started with a top white folding card base and a white panel. I stamped the image using Copic friendly ink and then colored the pup using Copic markers. I added a little "hill" in the corner by using a stencil and the blending brushes.

Yellow Brick Road

Hello!

It's my day to post on the Technique Junkies Design blog, and I wanted to share a card using Op Art, and Yellow Brick Road, from the April new releases.

I read a meme on Facebook the other day that said 'who knew when we woke up that Sunday in March, and pushed the clock forward an hour, we'd wake up in the twilight zone'?  I had to laugh out loud, but I have to admit, with everything going on around us, it feels a bit like that's what happened!  

So...with that thought in mind, this card was born!

The background was created by heat embossing with black powder. The sentiment was also heat embossed.
