Pam here today sharing our new Statue of Liberty and God Bless the USA stamps. I used a turquoise ink to stamp lady Liberty and then cut a mask to cover her and sponge around her. I cut the sentiment apart to get it to fit as I wanted and it is up on dimensionals and stamped in navy.
I have always been so fascinated with this iconic part of who we are as Americans and have yet to see it in real life! I will get there someday!
Today is the last day to get 15% off the new releases. All your other items, use my code TJ10Pam to take 10% off.
I have another ocean card for you from the Technique Junkies June stamp release. I stamped Deep Sea Collage with white pigment ink on both the card and the bookmark with white pigment ink. Then I covered it with detail white embossing powder and heat set. After applying various blue shades of Distress Oxide inks with blending brushes, I stamped Ocean Soul with black Versafine ink. I then covered the ink with detail clear embossing powder and heat set. I used various blue ribbons from my stash of ribbons. Do you have a huge stash of ribbons? Many of us do.

I'm in love with these shimming bliss sprays that I picked up at Akron convention. The photos don't do these justice. They a silver sparkle to them. I tried to take a photo at an angle to capture the sparkle. It shows it a little better. I used a white gel pen to add some bubbles and make a frame around the center panel.
While I had the stamps out I thought I'd look through my stash of backgrounds. I found this shaving cream background that I had left over. I thought it looked like water. I love the way the Sea Floor background looked stamped on it. To help focus the attention on the sentiment I used a Hero Arts fish tank die on top. I added dimensional foam to parts of the frame to give this card a 3D look.
I'd love to know what background do you like better?

Today I bring you my homage to the USA with these two Technique Junkies stamps from the June 2022 release entitled Statue of Liberty #S972 and God Bless the USA #SDX216. I have also included the A Colorful Life Designs stencil Rays.
I stamped the image with Versafine Clair in the color Twilight on white cardstock and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I then used a blending brush and some Antique Linen Distress Ink to deepen/age the background.
Next, I Masked off the image and stenciled in the rays with Catherine Pooler in in the color Cranberry Fizz. I trimmed the paper down using my Deckle Trimmer and then aged it even more with some Vintage Photo Distress ink.
Next I splattered some plain water onto the image with a fan brush then mixed some Catherine Pooler Dress Blues with some water on my mat and splattered some blue.
I created the sentiment on a separate scrap with the Twilight ink and clear embossing powder then colored in the bottom half of the letters with the Cranberry Fizz.
I measured out some bakers twine to wrap 4 times around the card and secured it in the back with some washi tape. I then rubbed some Antique Linen Distress Ink onto the twine to age it as well.
I popped the panel up on some Kraft cardstock then popped the sentiment up on top of the twine!
Below is the process video where I made the same but even grungier!
