You're not old...

 Hello Junkies!

Masculine cards can be such a challenge to make.  These new vintage stamps make them really easy.  I used a spotlight technique to highlight the man in the collage stamp.   I used the sentiment strip to ground the image.   It makes for a really fast and easy card.  This would be a great card to mass produce to have several masculine cards on hand.

Do you say inappropriate things?

Okay, this sentiment is so me!!! Pam here bringing you this fabulous new sentiment this month Inappropriate. I think the older people get, they don't care what people think and they just speak their minds! I paired the sentiment with By Us. These broads don't care what anybody thinks of them!! I watercolored the image on watercolor paper and matted it with a pale pink and paired it with a piece of scrap dp on my desk. I cut the sentiment up before adding it to card on dimensionals.

Head on over to the store here and get yourselves some excellent quality rubber stamps! Use my code TJ10Pam.

Have a great day!

Gate fold cards

Today I am sharing a couple of makes

with two of the new Technique Junkies stamps

Made two gate cards ... firstly

This style is always great to use with a saying.

Used the new 'Writer's Block' stamp for the

panels - and the the 'Inappropriate' saying. lol

Next is a twisted gate fold card

A nice change to a standard card

The dark brown background I stamped with the 'Distressed Paint' stamp

and the saying is 'see what happens'

The saying is also cover with Shimmering bliss

for a bit of sparkle

I Probably Shouldn't Say That

The background is Vintage French Advertisements   and was  stamped with Distress Oxide ink and heat embossed.  I used blending brushes to add a light purple ink which sort of blurred some of the ink.  The little  was adhered with a heavy duty glue dot..  I used a purple Copic marker to highlight the raised metal areas. The focal  image is See What Happens.  I used a stamp platform to stamp this image.  I stamped the lady with black Memento ink and colored it with Copic markers.  Then I used black Versafine ink for the verse.

Please consider buying the Gotta Have it All bundle.  It is a great deal.

Grunge Circle Butterflies

Good morning!  It's Holly posting and I have another grunge-y, vintage-y card to share with you today.  I love the new vintage stamps that Technique Junkies just released, and it's been fun to get these inky.  On this soft pink card, I stamped the new Distressed Paint background with a dark brown permanent ink onto some white cardstock and let it dry.  Then I brushed on some Antique Linen and Tattered Rose distress inks all over the background.

While I had the Tattered Rose distress ink out, I brushed it onto some scrap white cardstock.  After that was dry, I used some Martha Stewart punches to punch out the butterflies.  I also punched out some butterflies from vellum, and then glued the vellum butterflies on top of their respective rose-colored butterflies.  I added some ivory pearls to the centers of the butterflies and set them aside.

Next, I stamped three of the new Grunge Circles with the same dark brown permanent ink and let them dry.  Then I brushed on some Frayed Burlap distress ink and cut out all three circles.  I glued the circles to the background and then added the butterflies.

I love how this one turned out.  Soft, pretty, and vintage-y!  Please feel free to use this code, TJ10Holly, to save when you shop at Technique Junkies.  Have a great day!
