Hello everyone and welcome to 2024. I hope y'all had a great New Year's Eve. I even managed to stay up until midnight. Yay! To help usher in the new year, I have a quick card for you using the new Carnations background stamp that I paired with Day Over Fabulous sentiment. I love background stamps and one thing I want to make this year are quick and simple cards using a background stamp and a sentiment.
- I pulled out a sheet of yellow textured cardstock and cut it in half.
- With one half I made a top-folding A2 card base. Then I stamped the Carnations background stamp, using black ink, on the other half of the cardstock.
- I die-cut a piece of black cardstock with a stitched rectangle die, embossed it with an embossing folder, and adhered it to my card front.
- Next, I used a 3.25" x 4.5" stitched rectangle die to die-cut the center of the stamped Carnations background, adhered it to a piece of fun foam, and then to the card front.
- Lastly, I stamped Day Over Fabulous on white cardstock, die-cut it with a stitched banner die, layered it on a piece of yellow cardstock, then black cardstock, and then to the card front.
