A Flamazing Day
Hey TJ Crafty Friends -
Get ready to be dazzled as I unveil the Flamingo Flock and Flamazing Day stamp sets in all their glory! 🦩✨
If you're a fan of mini slimline cards like I am, you're in for a treat. I started this card stamping the flamingo image, adding a splash of patterned paper to the bottom half. After coloring the flamingo with alcohol markers, I gave it an extra touch of charm with some leafy die-cuts and accents from my trusty white gel pen. To make it pop, I blended some pink Distress Oxide ink at the top of the card and stamped the sentiment in black ink right on top of it. A few pink gems added the final touch of sparkle!
I hope this card has ignited your creativity! Thank you for stopping by, and happy crafting! ✂️💖 Don't forget to use code TJ10Shalana for a discount at checkout.

Family Fun
- I adhered a piece of paper from the She Inspires Us paper pad from Michaels to an A2 card base.
- The Sister image was stamped on watercolor paper with Nautical Blue Memento ink .
- I placed a Girl Gang banner from the same paper pad across the top of the patterned paper.
- The stamped image was cut out with a Big and Little Chain Rectangle die and then popped up with foam tabs to the front of the card .
Do you have a family member who fits the definition of one or more of these stamps ?!?!?! I know I will be using several others to make a few more cards. Thank you for stopping by to see my latest creation from the new release . I hope it inspired you to get creative. Clean and Simple Dad card
Clean and Simple Dad Card
This card was created without too much fuss and a little creativity. Here’s what you do to create your version of this easy card.
What you’ll need:
- Water color paper (or you can use card stock)
- You can use any die cut frame in your stash. No die cut frames? Then use a low tack tape and create a frame.
- Three distress oxide inks or other brand of water reactive ink pads.
- Blending brushes to apply. You can find my favorite colorful blending brushes here and you can get 10% off using my discount code, TJ10AJ, when you check out. The handles are different colors so you can coordinate the ink used to the brush color.
- Rubber stamp set Definition of Family
- Black paint and brush. You’ll add a little water to thin it down and flick paint on the card when you’re finished.
- Spray water bottle and 1/2 paper towel
Step by step:
1) Tape your frame to the water color paper using low tack tape and be sure it is centered.
2) Brush colors inside the frame. I used tan, blue, and soft green. I start with one color, then slightly overlap the second color so it looks like it is transitioning, and do the same with the last color. Be creative and go with your flow.
3) Spritz with water then lay your paper towel on it. No need to rub.
4) Gently remove tape.
5) Be sure card is 100% dry (heat set if necessary) - then stamp the “Dad” sentiment or other family sentiment from the set.
6) Flick on black paint. I add a little water to my black paint to thin it so it’s easier to flick!
Wasn’t that easy? For me this clean and simple technique was addicting. I dug out many color combos and a lot of different frames…then had fun!
Do you like discount codes? Who doesn’t!!! My discount code is TJ10AJ. You can use it during ‘some’ sales and always on items not on sale.

Sand, Saltwater, and Sun
Hello Junkies! (Chris here)
I wanted to try something a little different today. I wanted to make a sandy background, but I wanted to break from my "norm". I found these Paint stamps in my stash. I thought I could use them in brown to create a sandy background. I used three different shades of brown to create the background. I also added spatters to add even more texture. It isn't the traditional sandy look, but the energy it gives the card. What do you think? I cut the flip flops from the flip flop background (quickly becoming one of my favorite summer stamps).
