A Hedgehog Wednesday

Happy Hump Day! Today I am showcasing the new Hedgehog on my two creations find it all here, 

The first card features a wood embossing folder that I rubbed a rust ink on and embossed it. Using the mirror technique, I stamped the hedgehog on plastic and then stamped on my yardstick so that I could make it look like they're kissing. A little two heart charm and the Love You sentiment.

My second card was quick from start to finish. Stamped the hedgehog, colored and added some distressing.....used some designer paper, washi tape and the new sentiment Small Creature.

Tis Halloween

 Oh ya !  Halloween is coming up and today I am sharing a couple of cards I made with the new stamps !

First up, one of my fav cards, is this fun fold using

Bare Branches stamp and Happy Halloween

I stamped the branches on orange paper and layered onto DSP (designer paper)

Die cuts of bat and crow added.

Front panel I stamped the Halloween saying and splattered with black ink.

This folds real nice and flat to mail out.

Also - this would be great for a birthday card for those born on

October 31 St

Next up using the new Halloween background stamp

and Shake saying set

Coloured in and some sparkle added

Layered in the orange and black with distressed edges.

Hedgehog in the Meadow

 Isn't this Hedgehog so cute? I colored him with Copic markers then fussy cut him so I could pop his on the In the Meadow background. He is so adorable - yet so fierce! perfectly paired with the sentiment. All three stamps are from Technique Junkies. Let Your Light Shine

 Hey Crafters - 

I absolutely love choosing my stamps not just for their design but for the vibe the sentiment gives off. It’s like each stamp has its own little story to tell, and this one? It spoke to me!

Today's card is all about letting your inner light shine bright! I started with a vibrant blue watercolor background, creating a splash with aqua pigments that just pop. Then, I added a crisp white mat and stamped the gorgeous sentiment. I brought the image to life with alcohol markers, and to top it all off, I used a decorative die to give the image a stunning, shaped finish. The result? Absolutely dazzling!

Bold Spirit

Deb here with a card featuring 2 of the latest releases from Technique Junkies . There are 14 great stamps/stamp sets in this release and they are 15% off through September 8th - no code required. For this card, I used Small Creature and Squirrel on Branch .

• I adhered a piece of Autumn plaid patterned paper to a Kraft card base.
• The squirrel image was stamped on Kraft cardstock with Rich Cocoa Memento ink .I left room under the image to adhere the sentiment.
• I cut the squirrel panel with a Double Stitched Rectangle die.
• The sentiment was stamped on white cardstock with Cottage Ivy Memento ink and trimmed to fit under the squirrel . 
• I colored the branch and pine boughs with my COPICS.
• The squirrel panel was adhered to the plaid paper. 
• The sentiment was adhered below the squirrel.
• I placed several brown and green rhinestones on the pine boughs.

This card definitely gave me Autumn vibes after the crazy hot summer we have had. Mornings here are nice and cool and greatly appreciated. I hope you like my card and will be inspired to create some of your own.
