Happy Saturday Technique Junkies! Today I'm sharing a flat card that has lots of subtle layers and yet super easy to put together!

It could be intimidating not knowing how to get a layered look that is still subtle, but I've got a combination of stamps and supplies that will get us there! Let's get started!
Supplies:
- Butterfly Beauty Stamp
 - Brave Enough to Fly Stamp
 - Textured Newsprint Stamp
 - Stencil (like Triangle Fade, Stars and Stripes or Medallion Fade)
 - Shimmering Bliss Spray - Festive Flamingo and Smoldering Ash
 - Colored Pencils
 - Odorless Mineral Spirits (optional)
 - White Acrylic Paint
 - Stylus Tools or something to dot paint
 - Black Permanent Pen
 - Memento Ink (Black and London Fog)
 - 4 by 5-1/4 inches White Cardstock
 - 4-1/8 by 5-3/8 inches Black Cardstock
 - 5-1/2 by 8-1/2 inches Kraft Cardstock folded in half for 4-1/4 by 5-1/2 inch card base
 - Adhesive Tape or Glue
 
Instructions:
- Stamp Textured Newsprint with London Fog ink onto white cardstock.
 - Stamp Butterfly Beauty and Brave Enough To Fly with Tuxedo Black ink onto white cardstock.
 - Color with pencils to butterfly and background around butterfly and sentiment. Optionally blend with odorless mineral spirits and a cotton swab or paper stump tool.
 - Draw a border with a permanent black pen.
 - Spray Festive Flamingo just over the butterfly. Let dry.
 - Cover butterfly and sentiment with torn pieces of scraps or copy paper. Lay stencil on top and spray Smoldering Ash Blish Spray around edges. Let dry.
 - Use a stylus tool and dot white acrylic paint around the outer edge of the image. Add streaks of white paint with toothpick or liner brush on butterfly and sentiment. Let dry.
 - Mat stamp layer on black cardstock and then onto kraft cardstock base with adhesive tape or glue.
