Hello Crafty Friends,
Today I'm featuring the whimsical Hocus Pocus stamp. Isn't it CUTE?!
If you prefer a seasonal card that isn't scary - then this is the perfect stamp to add to your stash!
For both card 1 and 2 here's what I did...
- Stamped image with Versafine onyx black pigment ink on watercolor paper.
- Added clear embossing powder, shook off excess, then heat set.
- I chose colors that worked with my background papers. I stayed with 3 colors for both cards. I used Tombow water-based markers and a water brush to color the cute stockings and witchy boots.
Watch a very short 3 minute video called Easy Peasy watercoloring showing how I made these here
- I framed images with black card stock.
Card One (white card base/A2) - I used a piece of scrap card stock with circles on it to complement the pattern on the boots and layered it with black card stock. You could replicate this with a circle stamp or by using a small circle punch making the colors you prefer.
Card Two (orange card base/A2) - I layered a piece of green glitter card stock on a piece of purple card stock. Then I torn pieces of purple glitter washi tape and added that to the green card stock.
Bonus Design: I combined two stamps together from the September release. It reminds me of the Wizard of Oz house landing on the bad witch. Makes me laugh every time I see it!
