Hey y'all. So, the holidays are over. Time to put those Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and New Year stamps to the side and make cards for love - falling in love at the beach this summer, an anniversary, maybe a wedding, or for Valentine's Day.
Summer is right around the corner and lots of people will fall in love at the beach this year so...let's make a card to celebrate summer love. I used Love Harlequin as my background and Stays At The Beach as my focal image. I also had a stash of adhesive hearts that went perfectly with the card.
Let's make the card...
- I made a top-folding A2 card using red cardstock.
- I die-cut a piece of white cardstock using a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die and adhered it to the inside of the card for a message.
- I stamped Love Harlequin on white cardstock, die-cut it using a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die, adhered a piece of fun foam to the back, and then adhered it to the card front.
- Next, I stamped Stays at the Beach, die-cut it using a circle die, colored in the image, adhered a piece of fun foam to the back, and then to the card front.
- Lastly, I adhered glossy accents to the water droplets near the hears, and the adhesive hearts to the background image.
