Beary Fun

Hi Junkies!  (Chris here)

Again, I'm in love with this realistic style stamp from Technique Junkies.   This bear is amazing.  I wanted to create a scene where he was walking in the woods.   I used an embossing folder to create the trees.  On the debossed side of the paper I carefully stamped the bear.  It gives the illusion that the bear is behind the trees.   I added some blue ink and glitter to create a wintery feel.   I felt like it still needed something...so I splattered silver sparkle watercolor all over to create a snow storm.   I'm so glad I did.  The card has the perfect amount of sparkle.

Don't forget to scroll down and see the bonus card.   After making a winter scene, I wanted to make a summery one too. Which one do you like better?

Blooming Dandelions

Hi. Tracy Shultz, The Hopeful Crafter here, with a cheerful card using the new Blooming Dandelions https://techniquejunkies.com/blooming-dandelions/ stamp from Technique Junkies. This stamp is super cute and is part of the July 2022 new release: https://techniquejunkies.com/july-2022-new-stamp-release/

I created this card by first heat embossing the stamp with black embossing powder.  Then I colored the flowers with Karin Markers. I die cut this image with an oval die. I used a piece of light green paper and embossed it with a floral 3D embossing folder. I used a yellow ribbon across the middle of this. I used a piece of pattern paper with pretty yellow flowers as the layer between the embossed paper and the oval with the dandelions. I used white embossing powder to heat emboss the sentiment "Thinking of You" from the Four Little Sentiments https://techniquejunkies.com/four-little-sentiments/ stamp set onto a piece of green paper. I used the Deckle Trimmer to trim the sentiment and a white mat piece of paper to layer behind the sentiment. I adhered everything to a white card base.
