Wisped Frames Sympathy

Hello TJ'ers!

Thank you for stopping by the TJ blog for another great technique and project. Today's card features one of the newest TJ techniques "Wisped Frames" (02/10 newsletter). Now I admit, I think I "over-wisped", but I'm happy with the result...and that's the great thing about TJ techniques. I like the think of the old saying "There are no mistakes in papercrafting. Only Happy Accidents". (or "morphed technique" opportunities LOL).

This card measures a full 6" X 6". I cut the circle shapes with Spellbinders Nestabilities and the flourish is a Sizzix die cut. The flowers are all from a local mill-ends fabric store.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to give "Wisped Frames" a try. It's so fast and easy and adds so much character to any project!

Snowy Countryside by Vada

Today's gorgeous creation for the TJ Holiday Blogstravaganza comes from Designer Vada Schutz. She used two Technique Junkie Newsletter techniques for her artwork. First, the Pleated Paper Technique (TJ CD6th Edition Bonus Technique) was used under the main image (it's embossed with white embossing powder). Vada also has a layer of CB Smoosh (October 2007 issue of the TJNL) with light hunter green on the white base.

Stamps used are from Stampin' Up and Dollar Store. Season Greetings is from DRS Designs.
Thank you, Vada!

This blog was set up so that the Technique Junkie Newsletter Designers who do not have blogs can share their works of art with everyone : )
Since we are in the midst of the Technique Junkie Newsletter Holiday Blogstravaganza, it is fitting to start the blog with this gorgeous creation from TJ Designer Judy Jackson:
