Animals. Animals. And more Animals.

Hello. Jeanette here. I've had so much fun with the stamps from this month's new release. There is such a nice variety; something for everyone.

Today I'm sharing four cards - all featuring animals, but four different kinds of animals. Cats. Dogs. Horses. Giraffes.

I said there was something for everyone, didn't I?

Horse Linograph:

I also used the That's What She Said stamp set from a previous release.

The Best Therapist:

Giraffe Border:

I also used the That's What She Said stamp set from a previous release and the Messy Diamond Grid stencil.

The Best Therapist

Deb here again with one of her favorite new releases for February !! It's no secret that I am a devoted cat mom to our sweet Pixie. So The Best Therapist  stamp was one of the first I wanted to create with this month .. I combined it with another fabulous earlier release - Hang In There - for my card . Don't these go together perfectly ?!?!?!  I think so !!

• I stamped the Hang In There image on White Mixed Media paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink .
• The Best Therapist sentiment was stamped below with Catherine Pooler Peppermint Scrub ink .
• On a Kraft card base, I adhered a piece of red polka-dotted patterned paper.
• The completed stamped panel was then adhered to the card base.
• I placed a pink heart sticker on the right side of the sentiment.

All of the February Release Stamps are 15% off through February 8th without any code needed . But you can use my code - TJ10Deb - to save 10% off all other supplies . There are many other fantastic stamps, stencils etc. to choose from . If you are a cat lover like me, there are many great cat images  HERE . Thank you for checking out my latest card . Do you have a furry therapist at your house ??

Pixie - our furry therapist !!

Until next time, Stay Creative

C-A-T Spells Fluffy Cats | Using Scrabble Tiles On A Card Idea

Hello everyone and Happy C-A-T-turday!!  Today's card uses Flussy Cats and The Best Therapist.  Both of these stamps are part of the February 2024 New Release, and 15% off through February 8th.

Let me tell you...when I first saw the Fluffy Cats stamp, the first thing I saw was a Tic-Tac-Toe board in the center.  While that idea was festering in my brain, I found a baggie of Scrabble tiles I had bought years ago on Etsy, which is how this idea came to me.

The Scrabble tiles I used on this card were bought years ago from someone on Etsy, which is no longer around.  You can search on Ebay and Etsy for Scrabble Tiles.  You can also look around in 2nd hand stores or flea markets for the game and use the tiles.

• I started with a 5.75" square card using blue cardstock.
• I used one of the designs from the I Love My Cat Collection from Echo Park, trimmed it to a 5.5" square, and adhered it to my card front.

I Love My Cat Collection Physical Paper
I Love My Cat Collection Digital Paper

• I stamped Fluffy Cats using black ink on white cardstock, used a 2 7/8" square die to cut the center, layered it on a piece of blue cardstock, and then the card front.
• I adhered the Scrabble letters C, A, and T to the card front.
• Lastly, I cut a 5.5" square piece of white cardstock, stamped The Best Therapist in the lower right corner, and adhered it to the inside of the card leaving space for a message.

Done!  Such a fast, fun, and easy card to make for the cat-lover in your life.  I'd love to know what you think of this idea - using Scrabble tiles on a card.  Leave a comment below.

If you love these stamps, they are on sale at 15% off until February 8th.  If you like anything else on the Technique Junkies website, use my code at checkout to save 10% on those items - TJ10Michael.  Thanks and until next time....
