This card is made using the Warhol Technique from Technique Junkies. It uses images from the Stampin' Up set, Happiest of Holidays which is retired. Judy used a gold pen to add the gold lines from the holly and poinsettias. The holly berries are red Stickles. She embossed with black ink and clear powder on red and forest green card stock. She layered the 6 images on gold card stock, setting it all off with the red organdy ribbon, pearls, and gold cording. All of the above is then placed on black card stock -- an unusual color for Christmas but it sets off the images just perfectly. Merry Christmas everyone!

From Dec. 2009 issue, of The Technique Junkie Newsletter. Faux Designer Paper Technique.
Stamps are from Inkadinkado.
Inks used; Versa Color Peony and Olive, and Versa Magic Eggplant. Versa Color Black.

This card uses the Masked Frame technique from the current newsletter. It is done with a monochromatic theme. The base card uses Night of Navy card stock, with layers of silver and white. The tree image is stamped with Night of Navy ink and then over stamped and embossed with silver embossing powder which doesn't show up well in the scan. Polished Acetate by Vada

Vada is the queen of Polished Acetate (April 2007 issue of the Technique Junkie Newsletter). This card proves it! Vada's creation for the TJ Holiday Blogstravaganza uses a strip of Polished Acetate to show off the pretty snow-bound stamps from Paperbag Studious and Hero Arts. She also punched the snowflakes from the acetate, using the new snowflake die from Spellbinders. The Gem Stones and new punch are from Martha Stewart.

Thanks for playing, Vada, your card is gorgeous!
