Autumn Blessings
Hello fellow junkies! Lynda Joy here with a card I made using one of the new fall stamps from the Technique Junkies September new stamp release. If you have not hopped yet, click the link to check out the new stamps and design team inspiration.
Don't forget, the new release stamps are 15% off through September 8th. If you order any non-release stamps, feel free to use my code, TJ10Lynda, at checkout to get 10% off of those items.
Onto my card for today.....
STAMPS:
AUTUMN BLESSINGS - new release
VanGogh's Letter - previous release
Leaf Twig - previous release
For the card base, I brushed distress ink on the front of a white A2 card. I stamped the Leaf Twig stamp randomly around the edges.
For the image panel, I stamped the AUTUMN BLESSINGS stamp onto watercolor paper, and painted the leaves with Arteza watercolor pencils for my medium.
Next, I brushed distress ink onto the panel, and stamped
VanGogh's Letter with light, stamped off ink randomly on the panel to create a soft background.
Next, I stamped the Leaf Twig and watercolored that with the same pencils. I fussy-cut it, and added it to the upper left corner of the panel with foam tape for dimension. I added it to the card base.

Same Stamp, Different Looks
Hi, TJ Fans! Toodle Noodle Ro, here, to share a couple of cards using the same stamp, but with very different looks.
REMEMBER: ALL NEW RELEASES ARE ON SALE UNTIL SEPTEMBER 8TH -- SAVE 15%!!!! Details at the end of the post.
I really like a stamp that can convey different feelings just by changing the way you use it. I feel like I really get my money's worth when I have that versatility. Today I am using Wolf By Moonlight (S801) on both cards, but they very different from each other. Take a look...
They are as different as night and day (literally).
For the "night" card, I did some heat embossing on black cardstock. I used Versamark ink and silver embossing powder. I die cut a frame from kraft cardstock and trimmed the image to fit in the frame. Using vellum, I cut multiple pieces using coordinating dies and attached all elements to a gray card base. I added some silver Wink of Stella to the moon and the vellum pieces, and added some black Nuvo Crystal Drops for a little added detail. As a final burst of shimmer, I added a good spritz of Iridescent Shimmering Bliss Topper. I decided to not use a sentiment on this card because I really didn't want to take away from the image.
It is so difficult to capture the true shimmer of the Shimmering Bliss. But here is a close-up which gives a little better detail of how beautiful the sprays really are.
For the "day" card, I also stamped the image using Versamark (on gray cardstock this time), but instead of embossing, I used chalk to color in the image. I simply used cotton puffs and dabbed the color onto the different areas of the image. I trimmed the image using a die and sprayed it with Iridescent Shimmering Bliss Topper. Using a die, I cut a black mat for the stamped image. I also matted a panel of decorative paper, then attached everything to a gray card base. As a finishing touch, I added a cute little shrink plastic tag I made eons ago. I really like how it all looks kind of ethereal.
And here is a close-up of the shimmer on that card.
I really like this wolf stamp. I am surprised at how many different looks you can achieve with it, depending on the techniques and supplies used. If you like the TJ products I have used, remember they are on special (15% off) only until the 8th of this month! And for everything else, you can save 10% by using the code below (which never expires!).
Hope you got a little inspiration today!
Til next time,
Keepin' it inky!

TIME DOES NOT MATTER
Hello Technique Junkies Stamps peeps!
Did you have a chance to take the hop for the new September Stamp Release on Saturday? These new autumn/fall stamps are stunning and among them are a new line from Technique Junkies new illustrator Jan Tinklenburg of "Mitten State Stamps". The card I'm showcasing today uses one of her new stamps Autumn Leaves.
The new stamps are all still available for a 15% discount but only until September 8th. So, if you like them and would love to add them to your autumn stamp collection, nab them now at this great discount.
All other stamps in the Technique Junkies Stamps store can be purchased with a 10% discount by using my personal discount code at check out TJ10CHERI.
I've discovered that a quick way to achieve an illumination for a background is to use a light colored card stock panel in the color family you're hoping to work with.
In this case, I wanted to color these leaves with Copic Markers blending layers of colors, so I started with a light coral colored cs panel and stamped the image with Rhubarb Stalk color ink from Memento. It worked out beautifully.
As a final touch of elegance, I sprayed the panel with Shimmering Bliss Gold Topper which created spectacular results.
The sentiment is from "Mae West Sentiments" and a fabulous set to have on hand. I love the sentiments in this collection. I stamped it in VersaMark on a dark brown scrap of cs and heat embossed it in gold ep.
For a touch of added dimension and glitz I added little dots of gold shimmer from a Nuvo Glitter Marker in Gold around the finished panel. I also used the gold glitter marker to outline the entire card panel for definition and mounted it on a dark brown card base.
Thanks for stopping by and found some inspiration. Don't forget the discounts for all the stamps: 15% off the new September 2018 Release stamps (deadline September 8th) and 10% off all other stamps as well as Shimmering Bliss Sprays, by using my discount at check out.

Happy Halloween
This is gorgeous card in person, I wish you could see all of the shimmer! I used Technique Junkies Autumn Doodles and Circle Halloween to create this card.
But the fun is in the shimmer! Normally painting this much detail in all of the doodles takes a lot of time but this painting went very quickly! I did not use water colors to paint! I used Technique Junkies Shimmering Bliss sprays and a water brush. I spritzed a small amount of spray on my craft mat and painted away. Hence all of the delicious shimmer all over this card. While I own quite a few of the colors I do not own a yellow spray -- YET!! I will soon. So I spritzed some Dazzle on my craft mat and added a drop of yellow reinker! I used the same think on the circle tag to create the yellow for the moon of the verse!
Remember you can get an automatic 15% off of the September Release stamps through September 8.
