Dimension Christmas Cards
I don't know about you, but I really love dimensional cards. Most of the cards I make have multiple layers and multiple heights. The one I have for you today is no exception. Three layers of dimension give this card a very classy appeal.
It's never too early to get started on Christmas Cards. I grabbed two of stamps sets released this month: Victorian Greetings (JT030) and Poinsettia (SS099).
To create the card, I started with a white A2 card base. On a piece of white CS, I randomly stamped the smaller Poinsettia image. I trimmed the panel down a little and used a Nuvo Glitter Marker to outline the edges. Using an oval die, I cut out the center of the panel. I cut a smaller oval from a piece of red CS. Centering that on the card base, I stamped the sentiment in the center.
I added dimensional tape to the back of the red CS and attached that to the card base. I added another layer of dimensional tape to the white panel and added that on top of the red panel.
On a separate piece of white CS, I stamped and colored in the small Poinsettia, then cut it out. I added one more layer of dimensional tape and attached that to the corner of the card. I added some Nuvo Drops to the center of the flower for even more dimension.
This card checks all the dimensional boxes for me. While not difficult to do, it looks like I spent a lot of time on it. That makes me happy!
Hope you feel inspired to give some dimensional cards a try. They are kind of addicting. If you'd like to grab these stamps (or any others), I can save you 10% on your order simply by adding the code below at checkout.
Happy card-making!

Naughty Dog
Kia back with you today to share this adorable dog from the Feliz Naughty Dog Set.
I stamped the dog image on Neenah card stock and stamped another on photocopy paper to use as a mask. For my card I coloured the image with distress markers in Gathered Twigs, Black Soot and Red Brick. I then die cut the piece before starting the stencil work.
The stencilling of the snow drifts I did with torn paper and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I then did the snowflakes using Spun Sugar Distress Ink, falling over the snow drifts.
I finished colouring the dog with a few Copic Markers and added Wink of Stella to the snowflakes along with some Nuvo Glitter Drops.
The sentiment is stamped in the black. I masked out the "Feliz" part as I want to give this card to a friend with a "Naughty Dog". lol
I attached the panel to Neenah Desert Storm card stock to finish.
I hope you enjoy this card today as much as I enjoyed making it.

Merry Chris Moose!
This moose is just cute in the Technique Junkies Chris Moose stamp. He is colored with Copic Markers I used Nuvo Glitter Markers to color the lights wrapped around his antlers.
Then I used a lovely Colorful Life Stencil - Christmas Trio Stencil. I only used the pine cone section and it was perfect to add some interest for the background!
Save some money on your order when you use the code TJ10Judy as you check out! Always good to save money!
Have a wonderful day, and get inky!!

Gel Pressed Deer
Hi Junkies! It's Holly posting today, and I have a fun Christmas card to share with you. I was playing with some acrylic inks and my gel press plate and I created this fun background. There was a lot of white area on this piece which reminded me of snow and I just had to use the Reindeer Names background stamp on this. Doesn't that look like reindeer standing around in the snow?
The sentiment is called Season's Greetings and it goes beautifully with this Reindeer Names background. I need another weekend of "gel pressing" and then I can whip out a bunch of Christmas cards with these two stamps from Technique Junkies. Have you started on your holiday cards yet?
