Hello folks.  It's Beth here with a newly released image called You've Got This.  This jazzy gal is wearing earrings (sequins) and looks like a free spirit.

I love to add handmade embellishments.  It just gives it a more "handmade with love" feel.  Choosing purple cardstock, to coordinate with her dress, I layered the top two flowers and added two smaller flowers on each side of the sentiment.  If you look closely you will also see leaves that are tucked under the flowers.

Advice From A Giraffe

Hello, happy Sunday!  Lynda Joy here with a card to share from the February release.

Stamps:  Advice From A Giraffe 
              Modern Encouragements, Set of 4 (inside)

This giraffe has some really great advice!  

I created the background with distress oxide inks.  I just added them to my craft mat, then spritzed with water, and smooshed the panel into the inks.  

I repeated this with different colors until I had reached my desired background. I love using this technique for these types of solid stamps.



When totally dry, I added the Advice From A Giraffe image with brown archival ink.

Harlequin Hugs

Hello Friends! 

With Valentines day being right around the corner I decide to share a valentine card using Love Harlequin, one of my favorite background stamps from Technique Junkies Stamps.

To create this card I simply stamped the background image using embossing ink and then embossed it with white powder (this is also gorgeous embossed in gold!) and then created an ombre background using the blending brushes with pink inks.  I added a strip of washi tape and a die cut to finish the card.

Sometimes, we just need the right sentiment, and not a lot of distraction. This stamp gave me just what I needed to send to someone special!  This was so easy to create - I simply stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on a scrap of patterned paper, die cut the whole thing, using an 'Outside the Box' technique on the greenery. After that, it was just a matter of some creative matting. Ta-da!
