Shaking Things up with Fairies
Ewww, I love, love, love this new release called Fairy Garden. It's the bomb! I see myself using this set a lot. Fairy Garden comes with 9 stamps.
I created a shaker card with a sentiment from Fairy Garden on the inside. It's surrounded by little die cut flowers that were sponged with ink using blending brushes, adding pink to the yellow flowers.
I can't say enough how I love these blending brushes and regret not buying them sooner. Sponge work has always been a favourite thing of mine, but looking back, the work is not flawless with sponges.
Did you know that we sell blending brushes? They are the best price that I have seen so far, and to further cut down on your cost, you can use TJ10Beth to receive 10% off on your brushes, or any other product.
I look forward to seeing your fairy cards in our Technique Junkies Yahoo group.
Get creative!

Hope is Stronger Than Fear
Sunday morning greetings!
I thought we could all use a little message of hope, and my card today is just that.
Stamps: Contemporary Floral
Hope Is Stronger
I started with a background which I had created a (long) while ago, using shaving cream and distress ink reinkers. You can find a tutorial on this technique HERE, on the Splitcoaststampers tutorials page.
I inked the Contemporary Floral stamp with Ranger archival inks in green shades. I used my Misti to stamp it a few times, adding different shades of greens.
I embossed the Hope Is Stronger verse on a scrap piece of white card stock, and embossed it with black. I used foam tape to added it to the card for dimension. Some layering, and I was done!
And for the inside....
This just in!!!!!!!!! Now through March 29th, everything in stock is 25% off at the Technique Junkies store. See Pat's post on the TJ blog HERE for full details!
And, don't forget to use my code, TJ10Lynda at checkout.
Keep hope in your heart in the midst of the world's trials now. And say a prayer for all of those who are working in hospitals, deliveries, markets, grocers.
Blessings,

Ceal here! Today I am sharing a card using the new Poppy Teapot.
Great image to color for the 30 day coloring challenge. Are you playing along?
You can save 10% off your entire order by using my code TJ10Ceal. Also because of the COVID 19 most of the shows that Pat normally attends have been cancelled so she and a few other companies are having a virtual stamp convention. Check out THIS blog post for all the details.
Pat is offering 25% off all instock items.
This coronavirus has hit small businesses pretty hard and if you are able please shop small.
Now for the details on how I created my card I started with a white top folding card base and a white piece of cardstock for the image. I stamped the image using Copic friendly ink and then colored it with Copic markers. I used a stencil by A Colorful Life Designs and blending brushes create the background. To finish the card I die cut the image out using an oval die and popped it up in the center.

Eye Rolling
Hello!
It's my day to post here on the Technique Junkies Design blog, and I have a super fun, slightly snarky (lol...) card to share with you today. This features a fun stamp from Technique Junkies, 'Eye Rolling' from the March new releases.
Sometimes, we need just 'that' special card to make someone laugh! Hmmmm....who needs a laugh today? You may just get some happy mail!
This was so easy to create - a bit of super fun and happy designer paper, some black and pink inks, and voila! - hope you like it!
Now, be sure to head over to the Technique Junkies store and check out the incredible new stamps this month!
Thanks for stopping by,
Patti J.

Book Bookmark
No, I didn’t stutter. Lol. It’s a bookmark, featuring books. And a really great sentiment.
I recently acquired these stamps at one of the trade shows because I was instantly drawn to them. I love books. And I love the sentiment. They go beautifully together. The stamps used are: Stack of Books and Write Your Own Story.
While I was originally thinking a card, as I started stamping, I quickly changed my mind to a bookmark. My 87 year old mom, who lives with my husband and I, loves to read. And since I like to make her little things every once in a while (she IS my biggest fan after all), I thought a bookmark would be perfect.
Both the image and the sentiment were stamped in black ink, and the books were colored with colored pencils and gamsol. I trimmed the piece down to a bookmark size, inked the edges, and added a ribbon and decorative staple (that was the tricky part — I had to take the staple out of the stapler and hammer it into place on a foam mat).
It was a quick and easy project, and I love the way it turned out. Sometimes, the simplest things are the best.
And don't forget, you can save 10% at checkout by entering the code below:
Til next time,
Keepin’ it inky!
P.S. Mom loved it!
