Snowy Wishes

 

Good morning, Junkies!  It's Holly posting today.  I love this gorgeous Night Snow stamp from Technique Junkies.  It's so pretty with the snowflakes and the bare tree branches and the white picket fence.  I stamped this with a turquoise/teal ink and let it dry for about 10 minutes before I stamped the sentiment.  Then I stamped the Warmest Wishes with Versamark and covered it with silver embossing powder.  Blue and white and silver are just so classic for winter scenes.

Blue Ephemera

 Sometimes I have a habit of creating collage stamps with dark or muted colors. The Ephemera Collage stamp used here seems to work perfect with these blues and turquoise inks, though! I love the way the vertical Write Your Own Story stamp works with the collage stamp, too.

Sparkle Paws with Stay-put Glitter! I Believe in Santa Paws... Today's video creates a sweet and sparkly dog-centric Christmas Card perfect for any canine-lover! .We uses the Paws stencil from A Colorful Life Designs, along with Aladine IZINK Diamonds for a quick and glittery background, too. We have a kit with this video, too. Hello Friends!

I'm up on the Technique Junkies blog to share a pretty card, using Courage, from Technique Junkies.

This is one of my favorites from this new release. How many times in life have we 'gone on', when we had no strength do do so? Beautiful sentiment!

I created a panel on Yupo paper, using alcohol inks, and felt taped onto a straight edge. After the panel was complete, I die cut the inside panel, stamped the image onto the die cut panel, and matted in black. The focal panel was then adhered to the original panel, and attached to a card base.

I struggle a bit with cards suitable for men, but I think this one could work!

Free the soul with a little sarcasm

It's Wednesday again and my turn to post here at Technique Junkies. I decided to post a new release and one that is not! Please use my code TJ10Pam for 10% off of your next order!

My first card I used the Ephemera Collage. It is super fabulous. To go along with it, I started the background by using the ACLD stencil called "A dotty path." I had a bit of teal left on it from another project. Using my Pixie spray to hold the stencil down, I sponged T.H. antique linen distress ink and loved the hint of teal. Next, I stamped the image in black using my Misti. the sentiment is Silence is Golden, Set of 10. On the inside the greeting is, "The ability to insult idiots without them realizing it." Some teal gears were added for interest, the sentiment punched out with word window punch from SU! and popped on a dimensional.

My next card was super quick. I used Free My Soul which I stamped in T.H. broken china using my Misti. The designer paper is from First Edition Paper and is called Wild Flower and I used an embossing folder with it. A big silver and rhinestone gem and some distressed organdy ribbon and we'll call it done!

Courage Encouragement Card

Multi-layer stamping and gorgeous patterned paper make this encouragement card EASY to create!

Look closely at the lion's face and head... the face itself is stamped with "Antique Linen" Distress Oxide Ink and blended with a water pen. Then, a "Vintage Photo" Distress Oxide Ink is stamped on top and blended with a water pen.

Finally, Jet Black Archival Ink is stamped on the FACE ONLY. It's easy to ink the whole stamp and then just wipe off ink around the outside of the stamp.

Just Because

 

Sometimes we need to send a card "just because."    Just because we want to encourage someone, we want to let someone know we are thinking of them, or we want to let someone know they are special to us!!  Or it could be we want to send a note card for any number of reasons.  

I used 2 new November  Technique Junkies release stamps:  Ephemera Collage and one stamp from Four Little Sentiments.  I heat embossed the collage stamp with white embossing powder and heat set.  Then I used several Distress Oxide ink pads in various areas using blending brushes.  Then I spritzed Dazzle Shimmering Bliss Topper all over to give this card a delightful shimmer.
