Hey Crafty Friends - 

Today I am showcasing a few fun background stamps, Pretty Line Florals and Falling Checks paired with the Cocktails and Facebook stamp set. 

To create this background I used 3 Distress Oxides to create an Ombre effect and stamped the Pretty Line Florals. If you like these colors they were tumbled glass, peacock feathers and mermaid lagoon. 

Here is a second card I created using the Falling Checks background stamp. This card I wanted to focus on pinks and gold. I used kitsch flamingo, worn lipstick and picked raspberry distress oxide. Again looking to create an ombre effect 

 

I stamped the image in black directly on the background. The cocktail was stamped a second time and the image colored with alcohol markers. I fussy cut out the cocktail and used 3D foam tape to pop it up. I randomly added two black dots to the squares.

Pumpkin Spice

Deb here with a Thanksgiving Day post celebrating my love of Pumpkin Spice. I wanted to share one of my favorite Technique Junkie stamps before Fall ends and Winter officially begins.. The Pumpkin Spice stamp is so much fun to create with .. I used mini ink pads and some highlighting tape - along with my MISTI - to create my colorful cards .. 

• I adhered patterned papers from the Newton's Nook "Autumn" paper pad to kraft card bases.
  
• The Pumpkin Spice image was stamped on cream cardstock with Memento Dew Drop Mini ink pads -  Rich Cocoa, Cottage Ivy, Morocco and Peanut Brittle . I covered the leaves and pumpkin with highlighter tape to stamp the sentiment . 
• My Mini Dew Drop ink pads were then perfect for stamping the other areas in different colors.
• I matted the top stamped panel with a dark green cardstock and used an etched square die on the other .
• A brown plaid strip of paper was placed across the center of the patterned paper on the top card . A green plaid border was adhered along the top of the other stamped panel.
• The stamped panels were placed using  foam tabs .
• I placed some autumn colored rhinestones on the patterned paper on the bottom card .

Grab your glitter card stock and snowflakes and have fun creating this pretty winter themed card!

I used the recently released Cozy Cottage plus one of my go-to stamp sets called Happy Winter Wishes to create this fast 5 x 7 card.

Pull out your snowflake punches or grab some snowflake stickers to give this card the finishing touches.  To me, this card was too simple looking when I started putting the layers together so I offset the cozy cottage piece and added 7 snowflakes. Some were punched and the large white ones were stickers leftover from last year.  Use what you have in your stash to embellish!

Wolf Pack

Black Friday is just a few days away.  I think I'd rather be thrown to the wolves than go out shopping that day.  Yikes!  I'm not a shopper or a morning person so  I will be sleeping my turkey hangover off! 

When I saw this wolf, my jaw dropped.  It is so hard to find realistic stamps of animals.   Don't get me wrong, I love whimsy and goofy!  It is also nice t have realistic designs as well.   I think this style lends itself well to creating masculine cards.     I paired the wolf with this encouragement sentiment.
