Hi, It's Gini and I've got a fun, new stamp to share with you today, from Technique Junkies! I used the IncrediBall Canning Jar set and mixed it up with parts of the Vintage Daisy Collage.  I stamped the stems into the jar with green ink and then stamped and colored the flowers, and fussy cut them, and "arranged" them in the vase. the sentiment, Always Hope was stamped onto a die cut, and layered behind the jar.

There is nothing quite home canned goods in the middle of winter. On my canned goods shelves, I have tomatoes, tomato juice (only a few jars), spaghetti sauce, peaches, bread and butter pickles, dill pickles, Chili sauce for a condiment, and soon I will have apple sauce, and some apple pie filling.  In my freezer I have freezer jam with peach jam, strawberry jam, blackberry jam, and red raspberry jam.

My children and my grandchildren have all caught various bugs over the years in canning jars.  I am showing this kind of activity on this card. I used the Technique Junkie Stamps  jar set http://techniquejunkies.com/incrediball-canning-jar-set-of-2/  and this butterfly stamp http://techniquejunkies.com/butterfly2/.  

Those same children and grandchildren have made fairy dust that sparkles and shines from "glow sticks" broken open into canning jars.

To create this raspberry jam this is what I did.  I stamped the jars on clear acetate with black Stazon ink.  Then i flipped the acetate and colored the inside of the jar with a red Copic marker.  But now I need the "bumps" for jam.  I used the small dots on the Wasted stamp with red Stazon ink and stamped over the Copic ink.  The saying on the front of the card comes from Mae West Sentiment 2 set http://techniquejunkies.com/mae-west-sentiments-2-set-of-5/.

Watercolor Thank You

Hello!  It's Robin Redd here, with you, today.

I love using Pinterest for inspiration.  I've heard a lot of people say it's a 'time-sucker' but I actually go back and look at my boards for ideas.  And, I love everything on there because I put them there!

I got the idea for this card from Pinterest.

I used Art Anthology Colorations Sprays to create the watercolor background onto watercolor paper.

It was really quite easy to do.  You can visit my blog for detail instructions on how I made it.

I, also, used the S010 Greetings Set for the sentiment.

I don't know if you've realized this but I use this stamp set A LOT!  It's so versatile.  

You can make a feminine card or a masculine card or a generic card to fit anyone.

Incrediball Canning Jar Set

Hello fellow Junkies. Beth Norman here. Can you believe summer is behind us and we're into fall?  I hope our winter goes as quickly, that's for sure.

Since sunflowers are in season I thought it would be fitting to fill my IncrediBall Canning Jar Set full of sunflowers.  The sunflowers are a Cottage Cutz die that comes in three pieces.  I created four sunflowers and distressed them with SU inks.

My cute IncrediBall Canning Jar Set is an October release and can be purchased on sale until October 9th at 15% off.  Now that's a steal.  There is a coordinating stamp set called Incrediball Labels which are just darling.

I added a big black flourish in behind my layered dies and added corner dies and distressed them as well.

Oh Christmas Tree

Good morning Junkies!  Today I have a couple of projects to share with you using two of the brand new September Releases.

First up is a tag:

I stamped silver ink all over a white tag and then sprinkled Stampendous Chunky White embossing powder over the ink and heat set.  Since the ink I used was fast drying dye ink, only random sections were embossed (which is what I was aiming for).  Next I stamped Flourished Christmas Tree onto a piece of mixed media paper and cut it out.  I painted the swirls with Art Anthology Velvet in Shamrock and Desire and then went over it with Gold Metal Effects.  I then stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Winter Wonderland Sayings Set of 3 in Tomato Sauce ink and added it to my page.  Finally, I stamped out a few more of the stars and scattered them on the tag along with different snowflake embellishments and finished up with some red and green fiber.

I then decided to create a quick and fun Christmas ATC.  I stamped one of the trees from Christmas Trees Set of 6 in green ink and then fussy cut it out.  I added a piece of sticky foam to the back to "pop" it out and placed it on an ATC covered with Christmas-y paper.  A few foil stars, a couple of presents, some Christmas lights, and a fussy cut Merry Christmas 2 sentiment in Tomato Sauce ink and it was done.

I hope you enjoyed these two projects.  They were a lot of fun to make.

Fright Night

Good morning Junkies! A fall chill is in the air here in New England today-and what better way to celebrate October and Fall than with a Halloween project.

For this card I used the Fright Night  sentiment and the Spider Webs for the background. 

The Spider Web background was stamped with acrylic black paint and used as a resist. Distress ink was applied over top with a blending tool-Twisted Citron and Wilted Violet-2 fantastic colors for Halloween.

I added the Tim Holtz Sizzix Ghosts die cut -this coordinates so well with this stamped background!

My first card uses the Hawk Background, layered over the Wood Background. I colored the hawk with Inktense Pencils, since they are so great for layering color.

In addition to the Hawk Background, we are also releasing a smaller version (Hawk, Small), sized for a focal image. In this example,I used Distress Markers to color the hawk. The sentiment is Feng Shui, (which has been in the line for a long time), and I used the Wood Background on this piece also:

Finally, before we move on to the hop, I have one more piece, to celebrate fall:

This uses the Oak Relief background stamp, colored with Art Anthology Sorbet Paints, with the background sprayed over with several Art Anthology Colorations Sprays.The word was stenciled on using the Art Anthology Soliloquy Stencil using Black Lava Stone Effects (it has a sand texture).
