Flowing Creativitiy

 The silhouette on the Flower and Wing Silhouette stamp is so beautiful. To me, it evokes a sense of flowing creativity, which made it perfect for the Endlessly Create Yourself stamp. The background was created by using the Direct-to-Paper swiping technique with three Catherine Pooler Iks. I added some glitter markers to some of th ebutterflies and flowers to add shimmer, too. Quick & Simple Ink Blended Card

Hello Crafters - 

Creating quick and simple ink blending cards allows endless possibilities with how you use your stamps. Today's card is featuring 2 beautiful stamps from the March stamp release: Flower and Wing Silhouette and Feel Like Sunshine stamp for the sentiment. 

Worn lipstick, Picked Raspberry and Candied Apple Distress Oxide was used to create the ink blended focal point in the center of my card base. I then stamped the image and sentiment directly on the blended rectangle. Isn't it lovely! 

 To embellish the image I used bitty sparkles and a white gel pen to add accents to the flowers. 

I absolutely adore the finished card. 💗

Jumping Fish!

 Looking for a masculine card? This one should fit the bill! Our Jumping Fish Linograph rubber stamp is aweome for any fisherman (or fisherwoman)! I stamped it twice so I could pop up that fish, too, and added a bunch of shine with Glossy Glaze, adding to realism. The stamp is 15% off through March 8th, too.

Deb here with a fun card showing the new stamp Shopping Online . Who doesn't love sitting at their computer or being on your phone or tablet and checking out the latest Technique Junkies stamps ?? You have a nice cup of coffee or glass of wine and you might or might not be wearing pants - up to you !! No judgement here.. 

I had some fun scraps of paper that were perfect for my card . Another reason for never ever ( well, almost ) throwing away smaller pieces of paper. I always seem to be able to find a complimentary piece of paper in my scrap drawers. 

• I adhered a piece of peach-dotted patterned paper to a Kraft card base.
• A storefront strip of paper was adhered at the bottom of the peach-dotted paper.
• I stamped the Shopping Online image on a piece of pale peach cardstock with Teal Zeal Memento ink .
• The stamped image was die cut with a Big and Little Chain Rectangle Die.
• I adhered the stamped panel to the dotted paper with foam tabs .
• Blue rhinestones were placed at the top left and bottom right of the stamped panel.

The One that Got Away

 

Hello TJ Friends!

Today I'm sharing the new Jumping fish linograph stamp on a square card.

If you haven't tried something like this I hope you'll step outside your comfort zone, just a bit, and give this simple card technique a try. 

Supplies needed:

Jumping fish linograph stamp

Tree branch silhouette background stamp

3 square cards (I cut mine from card stock) 10 x5 scored

3 different colors of card stock. I usedd blue, green, yellow

Brown piece for the backing (mat)

Black ink

Optional black enamel dots

Optional foam

Adhesive

Paper cutter/Scissors

1)  Stamp the tree branch silhouette background stamp around the perimeter ( front) of the card base and set aside.

2)  Next - I started with 1/2 sheets of colored card stock and stamped (in black) the jumping fish stamp in the same place on each piece using a stamping platform.

3) Cut all three stamped pieces (at the same time) to 3 3/4 inches square (horizontal and vertical) and cut a brown piece to go behind that is slightly larger. *Be sure you have the image in the center as you are trimming it up.

4) Stack the 3 images on top of each other then cut them at 1.25" then 2.5.  That should leave you with 3 pieces the same size - each 1.25 "

5)  The FUN part...mix up the cut strips so each card will have 1 strip of each color and a piece that fits together.  A mini puzzle.

6) Add foam (optional) to the back of each strip and adhere to the brown piece. Then adhere that to your card base.  

7) Optional - add a few black enamel gems.  You're done!

Sunshine

 Greetings Junkies!

This is a shout out to all those people who make others feel warm and fuzzy inside.   It is so much easier to tear people down and pick at their flaws.   This process doesn't make anyone better... it just brings people down.   I'm thankful for all the people who have built me up and helped increase my confidence.   It is because of them, that you are reading this blog post.  I probably wouldn't have been brave enough to be on a design team.   I hope your day is filled with sunshine!
