Snarky Mouth

I almost think this Woodstock Girl stencil from A Colorful Life Designs was made for this sentiment! Don't we all have a little problem holding things in sometimes? I know I do (occasionally). The background was created using a Distress Oxide dip technique and the stencil and My Mouth image were placed right over the dried colorful cardstock.

Welcome! Today is release day at www.techniquejunkies.com and we have 15 New stamps and 2 New Stencils to show you today! Our new release is so much fun, and as usual, you will receive 15% off any of the stamps/stencils in the November 2020 New Release Category from now through November 8th.

I am also pleased to announce that we have a new designer on the Technique Junkies Team - Nancy May. Nancy can be found on Facebook and on InstaGram @handi_scandi.  I am featuring her art here for today's release, but you can also watch our group and InstaGram for more of her beautiful work.

Before we get to Nancy's art, take a look at the release - and if you are a "Gotta Have it All" kind of crafter, it all can be yours for $99.99!

Ready to be introduced to Nancy? Here is a gorgeous shaker card using the Pine Bough Stamp, along with the (previously released) Very Merry Christmas:

And one more in the same color palette from Nancy May:

Of course, our designers have banded together to show you what they have done with all of the new TJ Stamps. You can see what each of them did by clicking on any of their links:

TJ Inkspirations: Diamond Fabric Tote Bag - LIVE!

First of all, I need to let you know that our office will be closed until Tuesday, May 28th. Not only is it a holiday weekend, but my son is getting married out of town on Saturday and I will be joyously celebrating with our family and friends. I am sorry for the inconvenience, but I am sure you will understand!  All orders will be processed on Tuesday morning.

That being said, I am happy to send you today's video. Last weekend we were in Syracuse/Auburn at a rubber stamp festival, and we had the opportunity to film the easy process using the IZINK Diamond Glitter Paint from Aladine on fabric.  I think it is a great introduction into these gorgeous glitter paints!

Please note that I was filmed in a vertical orientation, so the video will not fill your screen. We also had no control over the music in the venue, so be patient with that, too!

Here is the tote bag we made from the video. It is absolutely spectacular in person!

I hope you are a little inkspired by today's issue. See you next week!

Books & Roses

Have you joined the Technique Junkies Facebook Group and A Colorful Life Designs Facebook Fan Group?  Both are awesome ways to share your creations and find inspiration.

Technique Junkies has a large selection of Stencils from A Colorful Life Designs including one of my favorites ... Scribble Roses.  Remember, you can use my Discount Code TJ10Stephanie for 10% off anything in the store.

For today's card, I started by covering a piece of white cardstock with Weathered Wood Distress Ink using my new mystery tool ... a Make-up Brush.

Next, I used the same Make-up Brush with Seedless Preserves Distress Ink and the Scribble Roses Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs (remember, you can always click on the images to see them larger).  I love the clean lines I got using my brush to apply the ink.

I cut my stenciled square into two pieces, so I could cover a 5" x 7" card base.

I used a vintage library card (I love how the last person to check it out had a little smiley face) and a sentiment from Technique Junkies Bookworm Set of 6.

I hope you'll join the Groups and share your creations with us.
