Snarky Mouth

 I almost think this Woodstock Girl stencil from A Colorful Life Designs was made for this sentiment! Don't we all have a little problem holding things in sometimes? I know I do (occasionally). The background was created using a Distress Oxide dip technique and the stencil and My Mouth image were placed right over the dried colorful cardstock.

TJ Inkspirations: Diamond Fabric Tote Bag - LIVE!

First of all, I need to let you know that our office will be closed until Tuesday, May 28th. Not only is it a holiday weekend, but my son is getting married out of town on Saturday and I will be joyously celebrating with our family and friends. I am sorry for the inconvenience, but I am sure you will understand!  All orders will be processed on Tuesday morning. That being said, I am happy to send you today's video. Last weekend we were in Syracuse/Auburn at a rubber stamp festival, and we had the opportunity to film the easy process using the IZINK Diamond Glitter Paint from Aladine on fabric.  I think it is a great introduction into these gorgeous glitter paints!   Please note that I was filmed in a vertical orientation, so the video will not fill your screen. We also had no control over the music in the venue, so be patient with that, too! Here is the tote bag we made from the video. It is absolutely spectacular in person! For today's card, I started by covering a piece of white cardstock with Weathered Wood Distress Ink using my new mystery tool ... a Make-up Brush.

Next, I used the same Make-up Brush with Seedless Preserves Distress Ink and the Scribble Roses Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs (remember, you can always click on the images to see them larger).  I love the clean lines I got using my brush to apply the ink.

I cut my stenciled square into two pieces, so I could cover a 5" x 7" card base.

I used a vintage library card (I love how the last person to check it out had a little smiley face) and a sentiment from Technique Junkies Bookworm Set of 6.
