Floral Framed Get Well Soon

The new Floral Framed Sentiments are one of my favorite sets from the February release.  Remember, you can use my discount code TJ10Stephanie for 10% off your entire order.

I love that I can use the grid-lines on my MISTI to line-up the stamps, and then I was able to stamp an entire set of Ombre Note cards in multiple colors.

I started with True Breeze Versafine Clair Ink on a blue note card.

And finally Yellow, but I stayed with the orange ink for more contrast.

I love all of the possibilities for this gorgeous stamp set.

I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU

Hello TJ Stamps Fans,

It's nearly Valentine's Day, a day for hearts and roses.

I created this card using the beautiful stamp "Rose" designed by Jan from Mitten State Stamps for Technique Junkies.  I paired it with the lovely verse "Forever and a Day".

I used Copic Markers to color the image and the background.

The stamps I used for this card can be purchased from the Technique Junkies Store for a 10% discount if you use my personal discount code of TJ10Cheri.  That discount code works for ALL stamps and some products, so enjoy a little shopping fun and use the discount.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you found some inspiration while you were here.  Happy Valentine's Day!

Your Compass

A lovely embossed panel and a large die cut heart, and a few punched hearts make up this card.  The bottom half (beneath the ribbon banner) was painted with Shimmering Bliss Dazzle Topper Spray.
I stamped and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder the Technique Junkies Stamp Heart Compass.

In My Prayers

I hope you're having a pleasant Sunday.  I have another card for you today, featuring the Floral Framed Sentiments
set.
I love these flower borders for coloring, but thought I'd try something different with my card today.  I chose soft pink card stock, and stamped one side of the floral border in Ranger Archival watering can ink about 2/3 of the way down the card front. I used my Misti to get a good image and precise placement.

I used some patterned paper from my stash to create some borders on my card front.  I also added some strips of gray card stock to give it more interest.

I stamped the In My Prayers verse along the top in the same watering can ink, again using my Misti to stamp it a couple of times to get the density I wanted.

I added a few Nuvo Jewel drops for some accents.

For the inside of my card, I stamped the other border image, and added strips of the same pp and card stock.  I like bringing the theme to the inside of my card.  I feel it gives it a more finished look.

I hope you have had a chance to see the February new stamps release, and were able to hop along with the design team for some inspiration.  If not, you can check out their projects HERE.

If you are going shopping in the Technique Junkies store, you can get 10% off with my code, TJ10Lynda.

Are you inspired by this amazing  Floral Framed Sentiments set?  The flowers are lovely colored, as well as just stamped in a single color as I've done here.  And the phrases in the set are beautifully written.

Stole My Heart

Hello Junkies!
It's Ceal, here to share one last Valentines card with you before the day is actually here.
For my card I used the You Stole My Heart stamp along with the Love Harlequin background stamp.
Remember you can save 10% off your order by using my code
 TJ10Ceal

To create it, I started with a top folding white card base and a panel of Bristol smooth cut down a quarter of an inch smaller.  I created the ink distressed background using distress oxide ink and water and allowed it to dry completely. I have found that distress inks are a lot easier to blend on bristol.
Next I stamped the Love Harlequin background with Versamark ink and then embossed it using Pink Champagne embossing powder. I stamped the puppy image on another white piece of cardstock ad colored it using Copic markers, nd then die cut it out with a circle die.
To finish the card I added some touches that are hard to see in the photo. I added glossy accents to the heart headband and Midas Touch by Nuvo to the ends of the arrows and the bow.

Floral Frame

I hope you enjoyed the new release last Friday and are as excited about these new stamps as I am. I can't seem to get enough of the Floral Framed set. And since all these great new stamps are on sale only until February 8th, you better hurry and get your orders in so you can save 15%! There is no need for a special code, the sale price will automatically be entered at checkout.

If you like to color, this is a very therapeutic stamp! There are two floral borders which can be used in a multitude of ways. And the set comes with four different sentiments!

I stamped the Floral Framed Sentiments (SS101) using Memento Ink (Peanut Brittle). I then colored the image with colored pencils and gamsol, and added a little twinkle to the sentiment with a gold gel pen. The image was then cut and trimmed to fit on a vertical A2 card.

The panel behind was created with a We R Memory Keepers 3D embossing folder (Geometric). The pieces were attached to the A2 card base, and a few gems from Little Things by Lucy's Cards were added.

I love this gentle floral for a get well card. If you like this set, too, remember that you can save 15% only until February 8th. And if you have a wish list of other stamps on the Technique Junkies site, you can save 10% by using the code below.

Happy stamping!

Til next time,
Keepin' it inky!

Joy

Hello fellow Junkies.  This is the first of my New Years Resolutions: to make Christmas cards earlier.  I made 8 of these beauties.  I used Houndstooth Check, Big Flourish and Joy stamps which you can receive at 10% off simply by using TJ10Beth.

I have owned this Poinsettia die for many years and finally cracked it open.  Do you do the same thing?

I had so much fun heat embossing my Big Flourish with gold embossing powder.  It adds a whimsical feel to my card.
Are you making your Christmas cards early too?

Thanks for stopping by!
