Pretty Floral Skull

I love this floral skull! Stamped and lightly colored with colored pencils, I made a set of 5" x 5" notecards using the Four Little Sentiments set (Miss You, Just Becasue, Hello and Thinking of You). Simple, clean and great cards to have on hand. Both sets are here:

Furry Little Sociopath

Deb here with a fun card for all those furry little sociopath lovers !!  We have a completely white cat named Pixie who basically rules our household.  I love cat stamps and paper and washi and all things CAT .. For my card today, I used 2 of the February Releases - Time Spent With Cats and Fluffy Cats .

  • I stamped the Fluffy Cats image on white cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then trimmed it into strips to fit the top and bottom of my card base .
  • One of the sentiments from the Time Spent With Cats set was stamped on white mixed-media paper with Nautical Blue Memento ink .
  • I die cut the stamped sentiment with a Big and Little Chain Rectangle Die.
  • The strips of Fluffy Cat images were adhered to the top and bottom of a light blue card base .
  • I adhered the sentiment to the card base with foam tabs.

It must be the week for cat cards !!  AJ, Chris,  Jeanette and Pat have all recently used several of the February Release cat images .. Check them out in earlier posts on the Design Team blog.  Thanks for stopping by to check out my latest card ... Quick Cat Lover Card

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I’m sharing a fun & quick cat lover card.

Stamps & tools used:

I used the cat from this stamp -> Cat on her lap

Stencil brush Each brush in this set is a different color so you can coordinate it with the color ink you use.

4 x 2.5 piece of white card stock for the sentiment.

Adhesive & enamel gems

Turquoise A2 card base & a coordinating ink to use with the stencil.

Let’s make it…

- Cut 1.5 inch piece off the front edge of the A2 card. Set aside.

Stamp sentiment on the 4 x 2.5 white card stock piece.

Next I stamped, colored, and cut out the cat from the “Cat on her lap” stamp and adhered it in the bottom right corner of the white 4 x 2.5 sentiment piece. (see photo) I like how the cat’s legs dangle off and it looks so innocent (like the sentiment mentions).

Nothing difficult here. Just a fast cat card.  I’d love to see yours.

Animals. Animals. And more Animals.

Hello. Jeanette here. I've had so much fun with the stamps from this month's new release. There is such a nice variety; something for everyone.

Today I'm sharing four cards - all featuring animals, but four different kinds of animals. Cats. Dogs. Horses. Giraffes.

I said there was something for everyone, didn't I?

Horse Linograph:

I also used the That's What She Said stamp set from a previous release.

The Best Therapist:

Giraffe Border:

I also used the That's What She Said stamp set from a previous release and the Messy Diamond Grid stencil.

Fluffy Cats and Time Spent with Cats:

Your Cat thinks of you this way...

I mean, could you have a better pairing of stamps? The Technique Junkies Cat Lady stamp is probably what we look like to our feline friends...at least in my imagination! The sentiment is from the Time with Cats set - our fun and snarky cat-centric nod to furry little sociopaths. The background is the Carnations Background. The stamps may be found here:

Star and Flourish Birthday | Birthday Card | 4th of July Shaker Card

Happy Saturday, everyone.

I know...it's February...it's cold...it's snowy but, before you know it, it will be summer, picnics, and July 4th festivities at the beach.

When I first saw the Star and Flourish Birthday stamp, I immediately thought of America's birthday and knew I had to make this for someone I know who has a birthday on July 4th.  But this idea would also be great as an invite to any July 4th party or picnic and can also be changed up for anyone's birthday by using birthday-themed paper.

  • I made my card base using blue cardstock, 5.75" x 11.5", scored at 5.75" on the long side, to make my 5.75" square card base.
  • I cut a piece of white cardstock, 5" x 5", stamped Star and Flourish Birthday in the center and adhered it to my card front.
  • I cut my card front - a piece of July 4th paper - and die-cut the center using a rectangle die.
  • I adhered a piece of acetate to the back of the July 4th paper and then I added foam tape around the 4 sides and around the 4 sides of the inside rectangle.
  • I placed my shaker elements - gold stars and red and blue micro beads - on top of the Star and Flourish Birthday image and then adhered my card front over them.
  • I used the next size rectangle die to die-cut a frame, which I adhered around the sentiment along with some red, white, and blue enamel dots.
  • To finish the card off, I cut a piece of white cardstock, 5.5" square, stamped Kisses and Wishes in black, and adhered to the inside of the card.  The two images work perfectly together with the stars in each image.

So, what do you guys think of this idea?  If you make it, let me know...I'd love to see it.  Until next time...

Hugs from Brasil.
