Wolf by Moonlight

Hello fellow Junkies.  I hope you're enjoying the fall-like weather we are having.  A nice break from the heat.

I sprayed a lot of backgrounds with Shimmering Bliss and there was a puddle of Shimmering Bliss on my plastic so I rubbed my white cardstock into the pools of Shimmering Bliss.  I love the results, don't you?

Next, I tore along the top and bottom and matted with black and tore that cardstock too.  Last, I sewed buttons on the card just for added interest.  I fell in love with these buttons when I was looking at cards on Pinterest.  It was one of the advertisements.  I couldn't believe that they got to me within a week and are so gorgeous in real life.

Two for One

Hello TJ Fans!

I consider the September release to be the release that just keeps on giving!  With soooo many great designs, it is hard to know what to play with first!  Take this Autumn Doodles Background stamp.  What a beauty!  I have made two cards using one technique~

I learned this technique from J. McGuire; its a great one if you love alcohol inks.
I started with a piece of Yupo and alcohol inks in a fall palette.  I created my alcohol ink background and then simply stamped the Autumn Doodles stamp in Alcohol Ink Lift Ink.
I then immediately stamped the ink that was on the stamp onto a piece of cardstock that I had ready in my MISTI.

Now I still have the original Yupo paper left that I had lifted ink from.  It had a beautiful texture on it from the ghost image of the Autumn Doodles stamp.  I used this to make on of my favorite backgrounds- popped up negative die cut pieces~

Fall is Near

Today is the last day to get 15% off the new release and there are so many gorgeous fall stamps in this release. This Autumn Doodles stamp was so fun to color. I stated with a golden yellow card base, a black mat and a white panel. Using the MISTI I stamped the image on the white panel and then colored it using Copic markers. I added a hello die cut out in black to match the black mat.

Autumn Blessings

Hello fellow junkies!  Lynda Joy here with a card I made using one of the new fall stamps from the Technique Junkies September new stamp release.   If you have not hopped yet, click the link to check out the new stamps and design team inspiration.

Onto my card for today.....

STAMPS:
AUTUMN BLESSINGS - new release
VanGogh's Letter - previous release
Leaf Twig - previous release 

For the card base, I brushed distress ink on the front of a white A2 card.  I stamped the Leaf Twig stamp randomly around the edges.

For the image panel, I stamped the AUTUMN BLESSINGS stamp onto watercolor paper, and painted the leaves with Arteza watercolor pencils for my medium.

Next, I brushed distress ink onto the panel, and stamped 
VanGogh's Letter with light, stamped off ink randomly on the panel to create a soft background.


Next, I stamped the Leaf Twig and watercolored that with the same pencils.  I fussy-cut it, and added it to the upper left corner of the panel with foam tape for dimension.  I added it to the card base.

I really enjoyed creating with this stamp.  I love fall, and this is stamp really showcases the beautiful fall colors. I hope you were inspired by my card.
