Black Cat and Tulips
Hi there!
It's my day to post on the Technique Junkies Design blog, and I wanted to share a few cards using stamps from the May 2020 Technique Junkies release. Today, I'm stamping with 'Tulip with Text', Inside Out Old Fart, Five Fab Phrases, and 'A Little Black Cat' from the May 2020 release. I've also used 'Forget Me Nots'.
Here are my cards:
The sentiment (from the Five Fab Phrases set), was stamped on patterned paper with Versafine black ink, and that panel was adhered to a pink card base. The black cat was stamped on white cardstock, fussy cut, and adhered with dimensional foam. That's it!
For this card, I chose a blue card base, and a black mat. I then stamped the background (Forget me Nots) with a pale gray ink, and colored with Copic markers. I added a strip of black trim and blue glitter to give the cat a place to sit. Then the cat was stamped, fussy cut, and adhered to the card with dimensional foam.
For this card, the Tulip with Text was stamped on Kraft Cardstock, and adhered to a pink base.
I used some pink scrap, and a scrap of polka dot for the sentiment (from the Inside Out Old Fart Set). The sentiment panel was attached with dimensional foam.
This time, I stamped on a blue patterned paper, and the sentiment was created the same way as the above card.

These were easy to create - I hope you'll try them yourself!

Smile...While You Still Have Teeth!
I've been playing around with some of the new releases for May. What fun! This combination is the perfect thing to bring a little humor to your life.
I am loving this little old man! The expression on his face is priceless! The two stamps I used for this card are:
The card was so simple to make. I started with an A2 card base in white. I added a black piece of cardstock cut to 5.25" x 4". I stamped the sentiment on a white panel and trimmed it down. I stamped the Old Man, colored him with Polychromos pencils, and fussy-cut the image. Using foam adhesive, I popped him on top of the sentiment banner. Card done! Easy Peasy! I'm loving the combination of this image and sentiment! What do you think?

Just be Sweet!
I used Tulip with Text and words from Five Fab Phrases. This is a great set. I think you can make more than five phrases from this set!
Here are the phrases I came up with from this set. Can you come up with more?
Just be sweet
Just Smile
Just Enjoy
Just Hello
Just be happy
Just dream
Simply smile
Simply dream
Simply be happy
You make me dream
You make me happy
You make me smile.
I stamped the image three times. I sprayed the background with Ocean Depth Shimmering Bliss. Then I painted the second image of just the tulip with Shimmering Bliss. I used a green for the stem and leaves. And I used a red for the tulip it self. But you could use purple, yellow, pink, dark blue, and a mixture of these same colors. I fussy cut the entire tulips out and popped it up. Then I painted and cut out just the third tulip and popped it up again. I added a tiny red bow at the base of the tulip.
The words were stamped and heat embossed and cut out, layered, and mounted.

Extraordinary Wildflowers
Hi Junkies! It's Holly posting today, and I felt like making a landscape type of card. I started by brushing various colors (greens, yellow, oranges, red, purple) of ink onto some white cardstock with the Ink Blending Brushes. Then I stamped the Growing Wild stamp with black ink right onto my inky background. Lastly, I stamped the You Are Extraordinary with the same black ink onto some white cardstock, cut it out, and adhered it to the wildflower scene. I'm in love with this card as these are the kind I like to make, full of color with silhouettes of nature. :-)

Life is Short
Hello friends!
Let me show you a fun card I made using stamps from the May Release!
Details:
Stamp Old Man on white cardstock in Black Ink, color it with marker, here I used Copics.
Mask image and stamp Brick Wall background in light color ink.
Blend blue ink on bottom part.
Stamp Life is Short sentiment in dark brown ink.
Trim image.
For the foil background, adhere a piece of Teal Foil to a toner paper piece, insert to a laminator and die-cut to desire size, here I want it about 1/4" bigger on each side behind my stamped piece.
Here you can see how beautiful is the foiling piece, super shiny!!
You can use my TJ10Giovana and get a 10% discount in your entire order.
Hope you like it.
Have a great day!
